DS-Micro
The Micro-8 is a modular switch which can be expanded up to eight ports. The ports are user programmable to be either operator terminal ports, or channel terminal ports. In operator mode, the control is effected by use of a DRC1 desk-top controller. In channel mode, the ports are fully compatible with Motorola & Philips line signalling protocols and will also encode and decode selective calling signals.
The switch enables multiple operators and base stations to share access and information, and is a natural upgrade path from a stand alone DRC1. It should be noted that the plug in cards used in the Micro-8 are identical to those used in the 32 port switch DS32, and therefore a low cost upgrade path exists without wastage.
